1. All dogs must be fully vaccinated upon entering class. These vaccinations include Rabies, DHPP (Annual Distemper Combo Vaccine) and Bordetella (Kennel Cough Vaccine). Puppies will be required to have 3 series of their Distemper combo vaccine and a Bordetella vaccine (some pups may not yet be old enough for Rabies upon entering class). Proof of these vaccinations must be shown at registration in the first class.
2. Unless a trainer has previously approved specific training gear, only regular collars (buckle or snap) and standard six-foot leashes may be brought to class. If necessary, training collars will be provided and owners properly educated on their use.
3. No treats allowed! Top Dog does not use or advocate the use of food with our training methods.
4. No children under the age of 12 will be allowed to handle a dog in class.
5. Only one dog per handler is allowed in classes.
6. Multiple family members are welcome to participate in classes. However, only one person at a time should be working their dog.
7. All male dogs over 10 months of age must be neutered to enroll in classes. No female dogs in heat will be allowed to participate in classes.
8. Dogs displaying aggressive tendencies towards people or other dogs will not be allowed to participate in classes. |
