The AKC is one of our greatest enemies in the war on over population . To continue to let so many breeders register as many litters as possible is not acceptable. Limiting someone to only 12 registered litters a year would stop , the livestock mentality some breeders operate from. I guess at $25.00 for each registered dog, it's just to big a money wheel to stop . Also, go to an AKC breed show, the atmosphere is not very friendly nor what I would consider fun for average pet owners.

Dog legislation must be strengthened , to prevent some individuals, from treating dog and cats as just property. Although I donât agree with many of PETA's views, we need organizations to protect and care for loving pets.

THANK GOD for all the Humane Societies and SPCA groups throughout our country that do their best to take up the slack for the rest of society.
